Ningbo Hongzi Factory Recap: Our Retro Barber Chairs & Spa Beds Became a Hit at the 139th Canton Fair (Phase 3)

From May 1st to 5th, we brought our latest craftsmanship to Guangzhou. Here's a look back at the booth highlights and the products that resonated most with global clients.

We're Back from Canton Fair – and It's Been an Incredible Week

As a factory-based manufacturer specializing in barber and beauty equipment, Ningbo Hongzi returned to the 139th Canton Fair (Phase 3) from May 1st to 5th. This phase, themed "Better Life," focused on health, leisure, and lifestyle products — a perfect fit for our lineup. Rather than just showcasing products, we used this opportunity to meet both long-term partners and new faces face-to-face, to listen to their needs, and to demonstrate how we turn raw materials into finished, market-ready equipment.

The Star: Our Retro Barber Chair – Built from Our Own Production Line
The biggest draw was undoubtedly our heavy-duty Retro Barber Chair. Clients quickly noticed the difference that comes from factory-direct manufacturing: the flawless chrome plating, the deep, high-resilience foam padding, and a metal reclining frame that we cut, weld, and assemble under our own quality control.

Many visitors sat down to test the smooth hydraulic lift and stable 360° swivel. The response confirmed what we believe: barbershop owners today want furniture that tells a story, but they need it to withstand 8+ hours of daily commercial use. Our chair is designed exactly for that balance.
More Than Barber: Electric Massage Beds & Manicure Tables
Our booth also featured equipment for the wellness and nail salon sectors. The Electric Massage Bed showcased our motor and frame engineering — quietly lifting and lowering with zero wobble was a key concern for spa owners, and our bed delivered exactly that.
Next to it, the Manicure Table — with its built-in ventilation slot, soft LED rim light, and seamless tabletop edging — attracted nail salon buyers who were looking for easy-to-clean, long-lasting workstations. As a factory, we were able to discuss custom color and size adjustments on the spot, which made for very productive conversations.

A Small Change That Made a Big Difference: Our Portable Catalogs
Knowing that international buyers often travel light after visiting hundreds of booths, we prepared slim, lightweight sample brochures this time instead of heavy, traditional catalogs. Each brochure included high-resolution product photos with key dimensions, material descriptions, and a QR code linking directly to our website for instant inquiry.
By Day 3, our first batch had already been fully claimed by visitors. As our team put it: "When a buyer picks up a catalog, they're picking up a piece of our factory. We make sure that piece is light enough to make it back into their suitcase — and detailed enough to make it onto their desk when they're back home."

What's Next 
Now back at our Ningbo factory, we're following up on the connections made during the fair — scheduling video calls, preparing custom samples, and welcoming clients who plan to visit our production workshop.
